Munich - Event

Master of Art Nouveau at Munich's Kunsthalle der Hypo-Kulturstiftung showcases more than 200 works by Alfons Mucha from both public and private collections. Organised by theme, the collection includes large paintings, pastels, drawings and photos.

A poster artist, graphic designer, illustrator and painter, Mucha (1860-1939) is considered one of the best Art Nouveau artists. He was particularly famous for his advertising posters, many of which featured the actress Sarah Bernhardt.
