Montreal - Event

An oasis in Hochelaga-Maisonneuve, the Montreal Biodôme recreates four varied ecosystems of the Americas. Look for monkeys in the tropical forest and penguins in the polar worlds. In between are the seasonal Laurentian forest and the Saint Lawrence shoreline.

The Saint Lawrence marine ecosystem replicates the estuary and the gulf and Polar Worlds gives you a chilly insight into life in the Arctic and Antarctic. Plant and animal life abound along the pathways leading through the different environments.

The Biodôme's ecosystems are designed for self-guided tours. Information panels are posted along the pathway and any questions you might have can be answered at the Info-Ecosphere desk.
