Icelandic singer-songwriter Emiliana Torrini is on an extensive tour on the back of the release of her intimate latest album, Me and Armani. This date is at the Forum Theatre in Melbourne.
Emiliana Torrini really found her sound on her 2005 album, Fisherman's Woman, gently pulling listeners in to her compositions with her breathy voice, simple melodies and strummed acoustic guitars.
Her latest album expands her sonic palette, with the sunny ska of the title track, the rockabilly beats of Jungle Drum and the reverb-drenched guitar of Gun.
