San Francisco's Hyatt Regency Century Plaza hotel hosts the California International Antiquarian Book Fair, America's largest rare book fair. Around 200 dealers from all over the world offer everything from 15th-century Spanish documents (complete with royal signatures) to composers' manuscripts.
Accompanying the California International Antiquarian Book Fair is a programme of free seminars and panel discussions with collectors and librarians who have formed rare book collections based on their cultural origins.
