Kitzbuhel - Ski holidays - Event

The world's best skiers come to Kitzbühel for the super G, downhill and slalom competitions. Events take place on the infamous Hahnenkamm and are a highlight of the FIS Men's Alpine Skiing World Cup series.

The competitors travel the world to premier ski resorts, gathering points as they go. There are separate awards for the individual disciplines, but the Holy Grail is the title of Alpine World Cup Overall Champion.

The World Cup skiing tournament is divided into the Ladies' and Men's events, often held in different locations. The individual disciplines, for both sexes, are downhill, slalom, giant slalom, super G and combined, ensuring that every attribute of modern skiing technique is thoroughly tested. To win the combined title is the mark of a truly accomplished skier.
