Two-tone favourites The Specials continue to celebrate their 30th anniversary after the rapturous reception of a series of storming performances earlier this year. This date is at Edinburgh Corn Exchange.
The Specials were at the forefront of the late-Seventies UK ska revival. A string of hits documented their anti-racism and disaffection with the country's situation under Margaret Thatcher. Even now, tunes such as the UK chart-topping single, Ghost Town, remain relevant.
Apart from the absence of founder and inspiration, Jerry Dammers, the band's full original line-up revisit their fantastic back-catalogue with an energy matched only by the delight of thousands of fans who have waited years for their return. Tickets are hard to come by, but if you can get one, you won't be disappointed...
