The Dubai World Championship, billed as the world's richest golf tournament, comes to the Jumeirah Golf Estates in Dubai. This is the final tournament of The Race to Dubai and the prize fund is a cool US$10 million.
The Race to Dubai is a season-long competition that replaces The European Tour Order of Merit. Players are ranked during the season according to their earnings from all events and the top 60 players qualify to compete in the Dubai World Championship.
Players ranked 1 to 15 in The Race to Dubai share a prize fund of US$10 million and an additional US$10 million is split between the top 60 players, according to their rankings following the tournament.
