Dubai - Event

To celebrate National Day, the day of independence from Britain, Dubai's most beautiful monuments and shopping malls open up to the public to host a series of events. These include parachuting shows, camel riding, competitions, demonstrations and exhibitions.

Lasting four days, the festivities also include daily firework displays at the Heritage Village, on the Creek side, a colourful parade from Sheikh Rashid Palace to Hatta Heritage Village and several activities specifically for children with many freebies up for grabs.
