Ski enthusiasts head to the Alpine setting of Davos for the FIS Nordic Skiing World Cup. A far cry from fast and furious downhill Alpine skiing, the championships see cross-country champions racing uphill or gliding effortlessly through the snow.

This two-day event tests the dedication and skill of ski pros to the limit. Competition disciplines include Nordic Combined - a mixture of cross-country and ski jumping, relay races and sprints.
