The Boston Jewish Film Festival (BJFF) is a non-competitive festival which shows an impressive selection of around 50 Jewish-themed international movies at the Museum of Fine Arts and other Boston venues. It encourages contributions from local writers, academics and filmmakers.
Founded with ten screenings in 1989, this is now a fairly large event, with venues in Danvers, Sharon, Hanover and Randolph as well as Boston proper. Added bonuses for the 2009 festival include Latin American films and comedies.
Submissions are requested by May. The programme is finalised and released on the festival website by early October.
Event details can change. Please check with the organisers that the event is happening before making travel arrangements.
