The National Black Arts Festival (NBAF) displays the work of local, national and international artists in Atlanta every July. Dance, music, film, theatre, spoken word, literature and visual arts reach out to both youth and adult audiences.
The NBAF educates audiences about African Diaspora culture, with the hope of bringing diverse communities together for dialogue and learning. The initiative has been so successful that the festival now runs annually, while the year-round cultural institution provides teacher training, curriculum development, youth leadership development and an annual Holiday Gathering.
The NBAF website carries the latest news about activities and festival events.
Event details can change. Please check with the organisers that the event is happening before making travel arrangements.
