The Victoria Falls Bridge majestically straddles the Batoka Gorge below the Falls. It is 111 metres above the water and that's how far you'll drop if you decide to take on the world's highest commercial bungee jump.
From the bridge, bungee-jumpers look like human puppets, their bodies hanging limply from the strong elastic cord, their limbs flailing in the air. You can hear the screams of exhilaration as they drop towards the water with the Victoria Falls roaring behind them.
The jump is operated by Shearwater Adventures, and you can combine it with slides or even jumping in tandem. You can book in advance or just turn up on the day, although you might have to wait a while. You will be talked through the procedure and reassured about safety before you finally shuffle out on to the launch platform. Then say a few prayers and....jump!
