Each year Richterswil on Lake Zürich goes back to its organic roots. The Räbechilbi Richterswil, Europe's largest turnip festival, celebrates the humble vegetable with a fair dedicated to the Brassica rapa and a huge illuminated parade.

Tons of carved white turnips and thousands of candles illuminate Richterswil on the second Saturday of November.
