St Lucia's exquisite natural beauty provides a great backdrop for the island's annual Jazz Festival. Performances take place all over the island, with Piegon Island being a key venue.
Acts appearing in 2009 include Angélique Kidjo and George Duke with diva vocalists Patti Labelle, Chaka Khan and Nicole David.
Fringe shows, many of which are free, take place at Rudy John Beach Park, Derek Walcott Square and the Fond D'Or Natural Heritage Park.
