Qatar - Event

Held at venues throughout Doha, including the Visual Arts Centre, Alwaseel auditorium - Ritz Carlton, the city centre and a number of shopping malls, the annual cultural festival brings together theatre, poetry, music, dance, exhibitions, lectures and much more.

Watch out for the Heritage Village, presenting local shows such as the popular "men jump" (alardah) and the exhibition programme at the Visual Art Centre, which ranges from photography, video and installation to sculpture and other artistic work. Theatre events include a variety of plays, ballet and opera performances, from internationally renowned shows like La Traviata to local theatrical interpretations.
