Although now surrounded by the neighbourhood of Pointe Saint-Charles, the fieldstone Maison Saint-Gabriel was a rustic setting for nuns to raise and educate marriageable orphans. Re-enactments and tours of the furnished manor and gardens evoke its late 17th-century origins.
