The impressive Sunbury Plantation House in the countryside of St Philip Parish authentically reconstructs 17th-century island life. Quaint antique fridges, old horse carriages and mahogany furniture fill the rooms, all of which are open to the public.
Built by the planter Matthew Chapman in 1660, one of the island's first settlers, the Great House has lived through many different owners - as well as hurricanes.
