Housed in what was once a stately mansion, the National Art Gallery of The Bahamas (NAGB) holds contemporary Bahamian art. See Winslow Homer landscapes and sculpture, textiles, ceramics and photography from the end of the 20th century to the present.
Villa Doyle is as much a part of the exhibition as the works in its galleries. Everything, from the floorboards to the balustrades to the smallest architectural details, have been restored and refurbished to appear as they would have looked more than 140 years ago.
