Sandals Halcyon Beach is designed for adult couples and honeymooners, who crave complete relaxation. The 300-metre stretch of beach is perfect for romantic strolls or blissful sunbathing, whilst the lush landscaped gardens provide a shady oasis. You’ll find comfortable day beds and lawn chess around the manicured grounds. There are also three whirlpools and two freeform pools, both complete with swim-up bars and surrounded by lounge chairs. The resort offers poolside and beachside service, so you can feel refreshed as you relax by the water.

While there is no on-site spa at the resort, you can book an open-air massage treatment in the outdoor gazebos which overlook the ocean or make use of the spa and fitness centre at nearby Sandals Resorts. Enjoy exchange privileges with two nearby Sandals Resorts for up to an additional 21 restaurants, Red Lane Spa and a 9 and 18-hole golf course.

If you enjoy being active, there’s plenty to keep you entertained. Try diving – the hotel is a five-star PADI resort, and certified divers get up to two dives free per day – kayaking, knee boarding, wakeboarding, windsurfing, water skiing, paddle boarding and tubing. There’s also volleyball, tennis, pool, table tennis and chess. A nine-hole par 33 golf course is located at the nearby Sandals LaToc Golf Resort and Spa – a shuttle can take you here in under four miles. Green fees are complimentary, although it’s mandatory to hire a caddy at an additional charge. You can also rent golf shoes here, but trainers, track shoes or tennis shoes (all without studs) are permitted. Alternatively, visit the 18-hole golf course at Cap Estate.

The hotel hosts weekly events which include evening shows, beach parties, karaoke and piano shows. If you’ve chosen a Butler level room, you can order room service 24-hours a day, or between specific evening hours if you’re in a Club level room.

Choose from a selection of six excellent restaurants, including a beachside grill. Perhaps the most dramatic of these is Kelly's Dockside, which is located on a jetty that stretches out over the sea. Mario's features a range of Italian specialities and fine wines, whilst Bayside serves international dishes. It has an indoor and an outdoor seating area for al fresco dining. If you like Japanese cuisine, try the stylish Kimonos for Teppanyaki-style dishes or Soy sushi bar. Enjoy communal hibachi tables or head outdoors to find a romantic, lantern-lit setting.

With the exclusive Stay at One, Play at Three Exchange Programme, you can also dine at 27 other restaurants at two sister resorts and enjoy evening entertainment, too. Complimentary transfers between the resorts are included.

The dress code is mainly resort casual, which can include shorts or jeans, t-shirts or polo shirts. Swimwear must be covered, and shirts and footwear are required. For dinner, some restaurants require resort evening attire which includes dress trousers or jeans for men and, long or short sleeve dress shirts (with or without collar). Shoes or sandals should also be worn. Shorts, t-shirts, sleeveless shirts, hats, trainers, flip flops and slippers are not deemed as appropriate resort evening attire.
