The centre point of the hotel is its outdoor pool with a hydro massage rotunda pool. Alternatively, the sunken Royal Pool is reserved exclusively for adults, aged 16 years or over, to ensure quieter moments of aquatic fun. Inside facilities include a heated pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and state-of-the-art fitness centre. Two floodlit tennis courts, a dive school and kids' club (for children aged 3 to 12 years) complete the extensive facilities.

The hotel bills itself as ‘the most child friendly hotel in Cyprus’ and indeed there’s an impressive range of family facilities here. Leave your littlest ones in safe hands all day at the Angel’s Creche, open from April through to October, for children aged 4 to 36 months. Pre-booking here is essential. There’s an outdoor play area with swings, slides, spring riders and climbing frames, while older kids will enjoy the entertainment room with video games and pool tables. A 24-hour babysitting service is available for a small fee. The Angel’s Kids Club will keep children aged 3 to 12 entertained and inspired with a busy programme of fun activities including face painting, drawing, t-shirt painting, a two-level soft play set and an interactive floor game. The hotel also provides practically everything you might need to look after your children on holiday to ensure you can travel light – from car seats and highchairs, to buggies, sterilisers, bottle warmers and baby baths. Children’s menus in all restaurants are healthy, nutritious and delicious.

The hotel has five restaurants, two bars and a coffee shop providing an excellent choice of dining options.

All five restaurants serve local produce, including vegetables and herbs plucked from the hotel’s own extensive gardens. Breakfast is served at the Lemonia Piazza Restaurant, which also serves as an all-day dining venue offering flavours from around the world. The Epicurean Restaurant offers a choice of a la carte or buffet evening meals along with theme nights and regular and varied entertainment. The Mediterraneo Restaurant is a traditional Greek and Mediterranean tavern, open between May and October, where you can enjoy a wide selection of local specialities as well as fresh fish and the drama of its open kitchen. Ristorante Bacco serves authentic Italian cuisine with highlights from Tuscany, encapsulated in a sumptuous menu that includes fresh, homemade pasta dishes, tender meat and fish specialities in a brick vaulted room resembling a Tuscan wine cellar. O’Shin Restaurant offers an exquisite menu, showcasing Japanese cuisine using innovative techniques to create sushi, rolls, sashimi and hot specialties of Pan-Asian gastronomic delights.

The Astria Bar is themed around the night sky. There is nightly live entertainment, but children under 14 years old must be accompanied by an adult. The Mare Nostrum Pool Bar is open during the day (except during winter) serving a wide range of snacks, cocktails, ice creams and fresh juices without you having to leave the pool. Cafe Occidental is chic, contemporary and cosmopolitan, with decor inspired by the sea. It has magnificent views of the ocean and serves freshly brewed coffee, drinks, pastries, cakes and an especially indulgent afternoon tea.

Half board and full board customers will take their meals in the Mediterraneo Restaurant for lunch and Epicurean Restaurant or terrace for dinner.
