Coco Key Hotel and Water Park Resort - Orlando

Coco Key Hotel and Water Park Resort is a family-friendly hotel located on International Drive, within easy reach of Orlando’s theme parks, dining, shopping and entertainment outlets. The resort boasts an outdoor pool and hot tub, a fitness centre, a superb games arcade and a vast outdoor (canopy covered) water park. There are two on-site dining options and a bar, as well as a convenience store for grab-and-go treats and holiday essentials.

The hotel’s location is a big draw for families, and it’s easy to see why. It’s less than three miles from Universal Orlando Resort, which features four theme parks and a water park, reached via the complimentary shuttle. Jump on the I-Ride Trolley stop directly in front of the property to ICON Park on International Drive. Here you have access to an abundance of restaurants, bars, shops and must-see attractions, including Madam Tussauds, Chocolate Kingdom and Adventure Golf. Beach-wise, you have plenty to choose from, the closest and most direct being Cocoa Beach. It’s a popular surfing beach with the added attraction of a pier. Orlando International Airport is approximately 16 miles away.

The hotel offers incredibly spacious rooms and suites, decorated in a neutral colour with warm, wooden flooring. Although the accommodation could benefit from a little upgrade, the space is suitable for when you’re not making a splash at the water park. They feature everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a flat-screen TV, digital safe, coffee maker and mini-fridge to stock up on your essentials. Convenient rooms near the water park area can be a little noisy during peak times, but it doesn’t matter if you’re out hitting the waves and having fun.
