The range of facilities at the resort is impressive. Outside, you have access to 650 metres of natural sandy beach, furnished with sun loungers and luxurious beach gazebos (spacious enough for a family of four), as well as a pier providing direct access to the sea. There’s also a choice of ten pools for adults and children, including the kids’ aquapark with three waterslides and the main aquapark which contains five slides – each varying in length and height.

There’s an array of complimentary activities to try which include football, beach volleyball, yoga, tennis and archery – for a supplementary charge you can take up scuba diving, canoeing, windsurfing or waterskiing. To keep active, head to the fitness room which is open 24-hours a day, equipped with the latest Precor® equipment. The resort is also bike-friendly, offering bicycle parking monitored by security cameras, washing facilities and cleaning area, repair workshop and paid bike rental service.

For a pure taste of relaxation, visit the superb two-storey spa and wellness area. It spans over 6000 metres and features 18 treatment rooms, four VIP rooms, a VIP Turkish bath, four saunas, a steam room and a relaxation pool. Treatments range from anti-aging and lifting facials to Balinese massage – or opt for an Elysion Spa Ritual such as the Ritual of Chocolate, consisting of a body peel and mask, a relaxation session in the whirlpool followed by a rich, moisturising lotion application. Otherwise, you can treat yourself to a manicure or make-up application at the beauty salon or try a new look at the hairdresser.

The resort facilities for babies, kids and teens are outstanding. An area of 1500 m2 is dedicated to Carpi Kidz Paradise clubs, offering supervised, age-specific activities for babies through to 15-year-olds. There’s also a farm with a picnic area, mini amphitheatre for shows and a children’s pool with mushroom water fountains, octopus, rabbit and frog slides and a giraffe and clown shower. Parents needn’t worry if they have forgotten anything either. The hotel provides a vast collection of equipment, including high chairs, baby baths, pottys, cots and swim nappies, plus kids’ menus and buffets in the restaurants and a baby food preparation area in the main restaurant.

There are six sensational a la carte restaurants to choose from at the hotel, in addition to 12 bars, two patisseries, ice cream stations and fruit service around the pool and at the beach.

Savour the flavours of the world at Sarigerme Main Restaurant, which features separate family and adult-only areas and live cooking stations. There’s indoor and outdoor seating and you can pop in at any time of the day – midnight supper service is also available. Sample a selection of sushi, teppanyaki and Eastern specialties at Tao Far East and Tao Teppanyaki or take a seat along the Dalaman River at A La Turca for an authentic taste of Turkey. Visit the colourful Alize Italian Restaurant or enjoy seafood at the peaceful Vela Riverside Fish Restaurant. An a la carte menu of exquisite aromatic dishes from India is prepared at Finesse Indian Restaurant. Please note a la carte restaurants come at an additional charge, pre-booking and a minimum cover charge per person applies. Plus, you can enjoy food and beverage room service 24-hours a day (at an additional charge).

Head to the Beach Shack for light bites, or to Vento Bistro & Bar for wraps, burgers and salads. Pick up a poolside snack at the Breeze Snack Restaurant, while sweet treats are provided at Patisserie.

There’s plenty of bars to cool off with an ice-cold drink including Rouge Roof Bar – a great spot to admire the stunning views – and Elysion Spa Vitamin Bar, to recharge with a freshly squeezed fruit and vegetable juice. For a chilled vibe, head to the Beach Bar or Pianoforte Bar in the evening to enjoy a relaxing cocktail to the sounds of the piano. Sip classic cocktails at the Lake House pool bars or top off the night with a visit to Bay View terrace bar.
