November in NYC begins with the TCS New York City Marathon. On 2 November this world-famous run begins in Staten Island and travels through all five New York boroughs before ending in Central Park. Grab a spot along Central Park to cheer on the finishers.

On 7 November the Radio City Christmas Spectacular arrives at the Radio City Music Hall. Enjoy 90-minutes of festive-infused entertainment with dance, fireworks and a flying Santa. The show runs until 31December, so book your tickets before you go. Winter in Bryant Park also kicks off in November, as 125 boutique-style shops and an ice skating rink transform the park into a whimsical winter wonderland.

Or pick up wonderful keepsakes at the Union Square Holiday Market from 20 November, where more than 100 red-and-white booths will fill Union Square Park for the 19th annual holiday market.

In the evening sip a cocktail under holiday lights as model trains run around a miniature New York at The New York Botanic Garden’s Holiday Train Show from 7 to 10 pm on 21 and 22 November.
