All the information you need to enjoy a smooth journey through New York JFK airport.
British Airways flights arrive at and depart from Terminal 7 at New York JFK airport. See information below, including maps for the locations of other oneworld® airlines at the airport.
For transfers between terminals use the AirTrain which operates between all terminals at JFK as well as to stations that connect to the various New York railroad transportation systems (New York City Subway, Long Island Railroad).
Allow between 60 and 90 minutes to transfer between terminals when connecting due to the time required to clear customs, transfer baggage (where required) and travelling time.
The AirTrain operates in both directions around all terminals at JFK airport. The approximate travel time for a trip around the entire loop, including stops at all terminals, is 8 minutes. That does not include walking time between the airport and AirTrain terminal itself.
* Access is restricted to Emerald members or those travelling in First Class.
** At peak periods, access to certain lounges may be restricted due to capacity constraints. Access is available on the day of departure when the next onward flight is with a oneworld member airline. Access may not apply at a limited number of third party lounges.
