Accessibility and site help

The accessibility of ba.com is important to us so we are proud to work with Abilitynet, a national charity helping disabled people to use computers and the internet.

We are committed to ensure our website works with preferred technologies, including making our site accessible if you are visually impaired. By anonymously monitoring browsers, operating systems and screen solutions we see how they change over time allowing us to adapt and adjust ba.com to ensure it’s simple and easy to use.

How to listen to ba.com

Some operating systems also have built-in accessibility features that can read text aloud, or magnify parts of the screen. If you have your own screen reading software you should find it works well on ba.com. We suggest if your software has a 'forms mode', that you do not turn it on.

Speed of the website

We recognise that a fast website is important to you and we work hard to make the site as fast as possible, but there are factors which impact the response speed which are outside our control. They include your connection speed, the performance of your Internet Service Provider, and the amount of traffic on the Internet at the time.

Our site is designed for optimal use at resolutions between 800x600 to 1280x1024.

Cookies

'Cookies' are small text files that we place on your computer. We use two types of cookies on ba.com:

  • Session Cookies - used to uniquely identify you throughout your visit.
  • Permanent Cookies - these remember your chosen country, ensuring we always provide you with relevant pages. This also helps us to track unique and repeat visitors to the site but we cannot identify individual users from the cookies.

Third party cookies are used on some parts of the site for tracking the success of campaigns and promotions. These cookies are normally permanent.
