La Pirogue is a large, spacious resort with a fantastic long, sandy beach, which offers up activities such as kayaking, glass bottom boats, snorkelling and more. Additionally, there is a fun crazy golf course and an impressive dive centre. For further entertainment, the hotel has its own resident band and an in-house entertainment team, which puts on different shows every night. You also have access to the facilities of the nearby Sugar Beach hotel. Golf enthusiasts can make use of free green fees (terms apply) at Ile aux Cerfs.

The main restaurant, Wolmar Restaurant features a variety of themed buffets for breakfast and dinner. Here you can catch a weekly Mauritian Barbeque which is served al fresco in the adjacent tropical gardens. Magenta Grill, situated beachside, serves fresh seafood such as scallops, oysters, giant prawns and lobster. It’s a romantic setting, with thatched dining pavilions overhanging the infinity pool and fabulous views of golden sunsets.
The Coconut Cafe serves Mauritian street food and local cuisine in a casual poolside setting, while the oceanside Citronella's Cafe plates up Italian light meals, wood fired pizza and salads for lunch and dinner.
Enjoy casual dining and drinks and evening bonfires at Le Morne Beach Bar or head to Van Der Stel Wine Bar for a sophisticated wine list and in-house sommeliers to help you choose the perfect pairing. For signature cocktails, Medine Bar boasts a comprehensive menu as well as nightly live music and entertainment.
