For the quieter evening, the picturesque harbour’s cafés and pavement bars are ideal. Limassol’s nightlife is buzzing, often lasting all night, especially the Guaba Beach Bar. Or head into Old Limassol for bar hopping at some seriously stylish bars.

Wine culture dates back thousands of years on Cyprus, and vineyards are abundant. There are lots of vineyards all over the central and eastern side of the island, especially in the foothills of the Troodos Mountains. Head north from Limassol toward Mount Olympus to try Cypriot commandaria – a toffee-flavoured wine akin to port, often served with grilled haloumi cheese.
