Get yourself ready for some Wild West mayhem 14 to 17 May –as the cowboys are in town. Helldorado Days brings rodeo to the Strip at the Smith Center. And finally, from 29 to 31 May the sixth annual Brews & Blues Festival takes place at the Springs Preserve, where you can sample ‘red hot blues and ice cold brews’ to your heart’s content.
Bring your air guitar with you to the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino this month, as legendary rockers Whitesnake bring their incomparable style on 4 June. The following week, on 12 and 13 June, whimsical and hilarious comedian Eddie Izzard brings his Force Majeure show to the Pearl Theater at Palms Casino Resort. Trekkies, Star Wars nerds and comic book geeks take over the Strip 19 to 21 June for the annual Amazing Las Vegas Comic Con at the South Point Hotel & Casino. The baseball season is in full swing in June with the Las Vegas 51’s taking to the diamond against the Sacramento River Cats at the Cashman Center, 27 to 29 June.
Independence Day on 4 July in Las Vegas is a spectacle that needs to be seen to be believed. Firework displays across the city are spectacular, with Caesar’s Palace and the Stratosphere Casino normally being the places to watch. The brilliant undead cast of Zombie Burlesque will have you in stitches in this spooky adult-only show at Planet Hollywood’s V Theater, which runs throughout July. Go back to the 70s with Chicago and Earth, Wind & Fire, who play The Axis, Planet Hollywood on 17 June for their Heart & Soul Tour. Last but certainly not least, Rod ‘the Mod’ Stewart brings his iconic gravelly goodness to The Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace on 31 July for a truly thrilling tour.
