Decadent holidays in Dubai

Soak up the year-round sunshine on breathtaking beaches and discover a new level of luxury on holiday in Dubai. This glittering metropolis is packed with attractions, stratospheric skyscrapers and luxury supermalls. Yet there is more to Dubai than meets the eye.

Traditional souqs emit sensational smells and sights, and gold shimmers in large supply. Arts and culture is burgeoning, from traditional to contemporary, and luxury hotels are in on the act. Take in the views from the world’s tallest building – the Burj Khalifa – before heading to the spectacular beach resorts, which line the coast. Dine at any number of international restaurants, Arabian, English, Indian, Japanese, and so on. There is so much choice. Don’t miss out on a trip to the desert, to ride a camel or race buggies across the dunes before sleeping under the stars in a tent. Our regular flights to Dubai make city breaks impossible to resist.

Al Bastakiya

Learn some of the history of Dubai while strolling around the Al Bastakiya district – here you can still see some traditional wind towers and old houses. Then drop by the Dubai Museum, which is housed in a restored fort, for a further insight into the rich history and cultural heritage of the Emirate. Perhaps cross the creek by ‘abra’ to soak up the aroma of spices in the Spice Souk and splash some cash in the Gold Souk.

After a morning of sightseeing cool down at Wild Wadi Waterpark, one of the most popular water parks in the Middle East. With 30 rides and attractions you'll easily find something to keep the whole family entertained. Alternatively, head to the 42 fun-filled acres that make up Aquaventure Waterpark at Atlantis The Palm, including the renowned slides that catapult you through shark filled lagoons.

Watch the sun set over the desert on an exciting trip into the desert. Experience a thrilling 4-wheel drive over the dunes and an optional camel ride, followed by a Bedouin-style meal while watching the sun set.

Burj Khalifa

Burj Khalifa

Here you can take the elevator to the top of the (currently) tallest building in the world, Burj Khalifa, for a magnificent view across Dubai at night. Afterwards take in the ‘dancing fountains’ before heading for some retail therapy in the Dubai Mall – one of the biggest shopping malls in the world and an entertainment and leisure destination in its own right. With almost 1000 shops, a wealth of restaurants, Dubai Aquarium, a skating rink, a cinema, KidZania and SEGA republic the hardest choice will be deciding what to do first.

Dubai should be another word for luxury, they are so intertwined. You can stay at some of the world’s most lavish hotels, like the award-winning Burj Al Arab, whose architecture resembles a billowing sail. Glamorous shoppers can pick up this season’s latest fashions before dining in signature restaurants of celebrity chefs. Sail down the creek on a dhow, whilst you enjoy a romantic dinner under the twinkling stars. Sit back and relax at a stunning spa, play golf on championship-level courses, or just sip cocktails on the beach – Dubai has it all.
