Travelling to/from Paris Orly

You must meet the following times, or you will not be allowed to travel:

  • Check in closes 45 minutes before British Airways and Iberia flights depart, and 50 minutes for OpenSkies flights.
  • Pass through Security at least 40 minutes before your flight departs.
  • Be at your boarding gate at least 30 minutes before your flight. Please check how long it will take you to get to the gate. If we have your contact details, we will try to contact you when it is about to close but we will not delay the aircraft's departure to wait for late passengers.

The quickest way to check in is online, 24 hours before your flight departs:

When you need to check in at the airport on the day of departure:

  • If you are travelling in a group of more than nine people, please go to a check-in desk.
  • If your child is travelling alone, or with you but on a separate booking, please go to a check-in desk.

Check-in desks open at 05:00. They close 45 minutes before British Airways and Iberia flights depart, and 50 minutes before OpenSkies flights depart.

If you have baggage to check in, drop it at a Bag Drop desk. Desks open 2 hours before the flight departure time but not before the earliest opening time of 05:00.

If you are travelling with hand baggage only and have already checked in, you can go straight through security to the gate. If your hand baggage exceeds your allowance, you may need to check it in and charges may apply.

  • customers travelling in Club Europe, Biz Bed and Prem Plus

Iberia VIP Lounge

If you're travelling in Business Plus and Business Class on Iberia, are an Iberia Plus Platinum or Gold member, or an Emerald or Sapphire oneworld member, you can use the Iberia VIP Lounge, located in Hall 1, before passport control. It is open daily 06:00 to 21:00.

Designed by young, talented and renowned French architect Nelson Wilmotte, this lounge reflects the boutique style and elegance of OpenSkies, with dedicated areas to work, unwind and relax.

It has furnishings from Morgan with fabrics from Kvadrat, Europe’s leading manufacturer of design textiles, as well as stylish designer features, such as lighting from Danish family company Gubi.

  • Enjoy different delicious hot and cold snack options adapted to flight times, as well as a wide range of complimentary alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
  • Catch up comfortably on work with the lounge dedicated wi-fi service.
  • Most seats have power points for personal devices with the ability to print wirelessly.
  • The lounge also features regular exhibitions of beautiful photography and paintings from various contemporary artists.

The lounge is located in Orly West, conveniently accessible right after the Hall 3 security checks and just a few steps from the boarding gates. It is open daily from 06:30 to 20:00 and available to:

  • OpenSkies Biz Bed customers travelling to New York
  • British Airways Club Europe customers travelling to London Heathrow
  • Executive Club Gold and Silver Members
  • oneworld Emerald and Sapphire members

You need to be at the gate no later than 30 minutes before the flight departs. If we have your contact details, we will try to contact you when it is about to close but we can't delay the aircraft's departure to wait for late passengers.

Priority boarding is available to:

  • families with small children
  • customers requiring disability or mobility assistance
  • customers travelling in Club Europe, Biz Bed and Prem Plus
  • Executive Club Gold, Silver and Bronze Members
  • oneworld Emerald, Sapphire and Ruby members

Make sure you're at the boarding gate early enough to be able to board before other passengers.

If you're travelling with British Airways and need additional help for your journey, e.g. for getting through the airport, boarding the aircraft, or reaching your onward travel connections, please let us know at least 48 hours before you travel at Manage My Booking and we can arrange this for you with Paris Orly airport.
