How to collect Avios with Starwood hotels

  1. Once you are a member of the Starwood Preferred Guest programme, you can then visit www.spg.com or call the Starwood Customer Contact Centre to change your earning preference to British Airways Executive Club Avios.
  2. When you make a reservation please provide your Executive Club membership number and then again at hotel check-in.
  3. All Avios are earned based on how much you spend at the hotel.

Exchange Starpoints® for Avios

To convert your Starpoints® into Avios, log into your account on http://www.spg.com/ or call the Starwood Customer Contact Centre.

  • You can convert Starpoints® for Avios at the rate of 1 Starpoint for 1 Avios.
  • You can also get a 5,000 Avios bonus when you transfer 20,000 Starpoints to Avios in one transaction.
  • No minimum transfer applies for SPG Platinum members.
  • SPG Gold members have a minimum point transfer of 1,500 Starpoints.
