Nice fly drive

Spend a half-day in nearby Cannes, famous for its film festival, luxury shops and celebrity lifestyle. Cannes is located just 34km from Nice and the A8 road is the recommended route for this drive. Hire a car and swap the beach for the mountains on a day trip to one of the French Riviera’s alpine ski resorts. Drive up the beautiful mountain pass to the Alps, taking in stunning mountain waterfalls and the lush forest area of Mercantor en route to the Isola 2000 ski resort. Under 15km from Nice is the beautiful region of Eze, reachable by driving along the famous Grand Corniche road on the way to the tiny principality of Monaco. Use your Nice car hire to visit the delightful medieval town of Mougins. Set high in the hills, Mougins boasts fabulous panoramic views over Cannes. Travel via Antibes and visit the famous national museum, which houses many legendary Picasso works. Relax on sandy beaches in Cannes and indulge in designer-label shopping on La Croisette Boulevard.
