How long is a flight to London?

Your flight time to London depends on where you’re flying from and which airport you’re landing in. You can see flight times on our timetable.

How many hours before my flight to London do I need to go to the airport?

You should go to the airport at least two hours before your flight to London to give you plenty of time to pass through security checks.

What’s the easiest way to reach central London from the airport?

We offer flights to three different London airports, so you can choose the one that’s most convenient for where you’re staying.

London Heathrow is London’s busiest airport. There are several options for your journey into the city, including the Heathrow Express, which takes 20 minutes to Paddington. The Elizabeth Line and Piccadilly tube line offer travel to other stations across the capital.

Catch a direct train from London Gatwick via the Gatwick Express and you’ll be at Victoria station in south London in 30 minutes. Or, hop on a Southern Rail train to get off at a stop close by.

Board the DLR from the train station just 50 metres from London City Airport for connections to the London underground network. It takes just 10 minutes to reach Canning Town tube station, where you can change to the Jubilee line.
