Frankfurt Airport’s two terminals are located 7.5 miles (12 Kilometres) from central Frankfurt. Trains depart for Frankfurt’s Central Station from Terminal 1 every 15 minutes, arriving 11 minutes later. Buses from Terminal 1 also run, arriving at Frankfurt’s southern Station in 20-30 minutes. Tickets are bought from machines before boarding and are valid across Frankfurt’s public excellent transport system, which includes underground trains and trams.
