Only 30 minutes from Amsterdam and in the heart of Holland you will find the beautiful city of Utrecht. With a medieval city centre, small enough to explore on foot, Utrecht exudes easy-going Dutch charm everywhere you go. Visit the Dom Tower; the highest and oldest church tower in Holland. The Dom Tower is 112 metres high and even if you do not climb to the top, you are still likely to hear one of its thirteen bells. Don't miss winter fun at the railway museum from 20 December 2014 to 4 January 2015. During the Christmas holidays, Utrecht’s railway museum is transformed into a winter wonderland. Come and enjoy the festive fun with ice-skating, musical performances and acrobatic acts, plus, get a fascinating insight into the history of the Dutch railway.
