Transfers to the city from Chengdu are straightforward with bus or taxi services the most popular choices. Bus number 303 runs straight to the city. Self-drive car hire is only available to holders of a Chinese driving licence although chauffer options are available. A cheaper taxi fare can usually be negotiated with the driver, with RMB50 a reasonable price.
