In-Flight Retail Changes Are More Than Skin Deep

British Airways will become the first airline in Europe to offer customers flying long-haul a selection of premium skin care products from Kiehl’s.

Three of the most popular products from the world famous New York-based apothecary and skin care experts will be available to buy from British Airways’ High Life Shop range from May.

The Kiehl’s products to be featured will be their classic Midnight Recovery Concentrate (£30), Midnight Recovery Eye (£21) and Ultra Facial Cream (£20).

The new selection comes just as the airline is extending its duty free pre-ordering programme on long-haul flights to allow customers to order goods on board and have them delivered to them in their seat on their return journey.

Niall Rooney, British Airways’ ancillary business manager, said: “We’ve no doubt that Kiehl’s will add an extra dimension to the fantastic premium range of products we already offer to our customers on board and online from”

“We’re always looking to add new, innovative and exciting products to delight our customers every time they shop on board with us so they can experience the highlife.”

From March 1, customers will be able to order up to ten pre-order items onboard. They’ll also be able to order goods a minimum of five days before they fly and be given their purchase on board their return flight or any flight up to three months in future.
