What's on in Paris this month

Paris is enriched with autumn hues in October, ideal for romantic breaks – sit chatting in cosy cafés with coffee (and cakes), after strolling along the banks of the windswept Seine. Why not take a nocturnal art trail, satisfy your car enthusiasm or soak up the spooky celebrations of Halloween.

Beginning at sunset on the first Saturday in October, 1 October this year, the Nuit Blanche de Paris invites you to explore the city’s museums and culture on a nocturnal art trail. Many museums, cultural institutions and other public and private spaces are open free of charge, throughout the night. On 8 and 9 October hundreds of classic cars make their way through the streets of Paris for the Vintage Car Parade, as part of the annual vintage car and collector show, Automédon. Keep an eye out for the cars as they criss-cross their way through the city. Families should head out of the city to Disney’s Halloween Festival at Disneyland Paris, which ends on 2 November. Discover spellbinding sights and spooky sounds as you explore the park - with eerie surprises around every corner.
