Nearby you’ll also find the Jelling Monuments, where a collection of historic artefacts highlight the history and archaeology of the Jutland area, including its Viking roots.

Duration of your flight to Billund.

Flying to Billund with British Airways couldn’t be easier. Fly from London London Heathrow (LHR) to Billund Airport (BLL) in approximately 1hr 40mins. We fly to Billund seven times a week, and you can choose from Euro Traveller or Club Europe fares. Travellers can also fly direct from Humberside Airport (HMY), London City Airport (LCY) or Manchester Airport (MAN) to Billund using our franchise partner Sun-Air, in approximately 1hr 50mins.

Flying to Billund with British Airways.

When you fly with British Airways, you can choose a departure date that suits you and you’ll enjoy a safe and comfortable journey. Our cabin crew will be happy to help you with anything you need, so you can simply relax. Choose to fly with hand baggage only or pick a price that includes a 23kg checked baggage allowance and free seat selection 24 hours before you fly. From 11 January 2017 you can also buy delicious food from British food favourite M&S on board all flights flying from/to London Heathrow and London Gatwick. That means you can sit back, relax and enjoy the food you love from the British high street while in the air. For your convenience we will only accept credit/debit cards on board.

Getting around Billund.

Billund Airport is one of Denmark’s biggest airports and is located 1.2 miles outside of Billund. Shuttle bus and public bus services are available from the airport at a cheap rate (approximately 20 kr (£2)) and taxis wait outside the airport, the journey costs around 80kr (£8). However you can always pre-book an airport transfer or organise car hire with British Airways. Combine flights, hotels and car hire to save money and enjoy additional benefits when flying to Billund.

Known for its gastronomy, Nordic cuisine has really put the city on the map and you’ll find plenty of trendy cafes and Michelin-starred restaurants to sample it. Take a walk around the city and soak up the combination of old and new architecture, then admire the views from the rainbow-coloured circular skywalk of the ARoS Museum. Combine nature and history with an array of cultural attractions in Randers, a hidden gem not far from Billund. Or visit Aalborg, which hosts year-round events for all the family.
