Overview

The family-friendly Beaches Turks and Caicos Resort Villages and Spa is set across twelve miles of powder-white sands on the paradisaical island of Providenciales. This popular resort packs a lot in. Active types will love exploring the masses of water sports (including scuba diving and kayaking) and dipping in its ten pools, some with swim-up bars. Meanwhile, kids get a gigantic 4,180 m2 waterpark, complete with surf simulator and lazy river. They can also stage a mutiny on the huge Pirates Island, playing with water cannons, pop-up jets and a plethora of sprays. Discover its regular Sesame Street parades before feasting at any of its twenty-one speciality restaurants. Food here fits many themes from Fifties’ diner to French, as well as street food trucks. Once the sun goes down – youngsters can enjoy the ‘no parents allowed’ night club, while parents can indulge in its massive spa, fitness centres or one of 15 bars offering complimentary drinks. With so many facilities, no wonder it’s such a hit with families.

The beach on Grace Bay Beach is known for its warm Caribbean waters and offshore barrier reefs, which protect it from wild Atlantic swells. It’s also pristine – as part of the protected Princess Alexandra National Park. This buzzing resort spans over 65-acres with everything you can think of, which makes it hard to reach offsite attractions by foot. It’s five miles from Providenciales International Airport.

Beachside suites are spread across five villages, with architecture that represents different regions. Italy is the most upmarket, while you’ll find the most reasonably priced accommodation in the Caribbean and the newest in Key West. They feature forty-three room types, with three-and four-bedroom villas. All suites offer the option to upgrade to butler service – many say it’s worth it to ensure dinner reservations are made in advance or to have or to have food and drink brought to you at the pool or villa. All rooms have fully-stocked fridges (including alcohol), too, while – with butler services ensure providing daily top-ups.

Dining information

There’s a whole host of options on site from its Tex-Mex next to one of the Caribbean’s largest swimming pools through to meals at Barefoot by the Sea (bare feet are permitted). If you prefer open-air views, then Bayside is great for buffets for all mealtimes. For those who like coffee and pastries, there’s Cafe de Paris, a quaint eatery with an assortment of crepes and sandwiches. Meanwhile there’s plenty of other different options to enjoy from more generic bistros, Japanese (complete with exotic teppanyaki-style dishes prepared at the table), Tuscan, French and more. You’ll also find an authentic pub setting on site as well as its Late Night Chocolate Buffet – a late night chocolate extravaganza serving an assortment of handmade chocolate delights and martinis.

You’ll also find Italian eateries, like children’s favourite Bella Napoli Pizzeria and the more traditional Giuseppe’s. Kids will love the Fifties-style diner, Bobby Dee’s. Kids also get a chance to dine alongside their favourite pals from Sesame Street.

In addition to all of this, come and find its four unique food trucks which will enable you to eat beside the beachside or waterpark. It offers treats including artisan mac ‘n cheese, creamy milk shakes, authentic jerk, and craft drinks. Unlimited, premium liquors (and wines) are available at all its 15 bars or restaurants.
