Surrounded by tropical greenery, The Spa sits in the Water Garden, overlooking a secluded pool. Simple manicures and pedicures right through to Swedish Massage, Deep Remedial Tissue Therapy, Aroma Stone Massage and Hawaiian Lomi Lomi are offered here, as well as a pampering couples’ massage treatment. Other revitalising wellbeing activities are available, including Tai Chi and Pilates. The gym is equipped with treadmills, bikes, cross trainers and a large selection of free weights. Fully qualified instructors also run classes, such as tone & stretch, aqua aerobics, cardio circuit and limbo and calypso dance classes, on most days.

There are two pools, one with swim-up pool bar and a lazy-river with a water-waiter service, so no need to move from your sun lounger. The hotel also boasts a state-of-the-art water sports centre offering complimentary water-skiing, windsurfing, Hobie Cat sailing and tubing. The first-class PADI Scuba Centre offers a complimentary diving programme.

You can also take part in the resort's themed months whereby each month takes on a particular theme companied by exciting activities, workshops and unique experiences. Enjoy Spring Sailing, Jive June, Summer Solos, Octoba Yoga and a Pre-Xmas Restorative Break.

Dining information

The Terrace Restaurant offers breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea in the open-air restaurant overlooking the Caribbean Sea. Come evening, the Terrace Restaurant turns into a romantic candlelit haven, where you can enjoy some of the finest food on the island – whether that’s delicious international cuisine during themed evenings or locally caught fish, delivered straight from the Caribbean Sea. Make sure you catch Wednesday’s West Indian buffet and Friday’s Beach Party. Thyme is the hotel’s a la carte restaurant serving the upscale foods and wines. The formal restaurant’s menu is influenced by the best French and Caribbean flavours.

For an intimate dining experience, The Malabar Beach Club serves an a la carte lunch and dinner with ‘toes in the sand’ laid-back beach dining at the water’s edge. Local island ingredients and fresh produce from the local market are served with a Caribbean twist.

Couples can choose romantic dining experiences, too. Take breakfast, lunch or dinner on a picnic rug under the stars, on the beach or in the garden. You can also opt to dine in the spa or your balcony. Select your menu (you can even accompany your chef to the market to collect ingredients) and pick your ideal environment to create a uniquely memorable meal.

Enjoy a few glasses of Champagne or sparkling wine at the nightly Champagne Hour before dinner. Soak up the lively atmosphere at The Terrace Bar’s nightly entertainment evenings, or simply unwind with a drink in the cool, air-conditioned surroundings of the Piano Bar.

In addition, the resort operates a dining exchange programme with its sister resort, The BodyHoliday. This allows guests to sample the excellent cuisine and atmosphere of the SunSwept Resorts (transfers between resorts are not included).

PLEASE NOTE. The hotel is quite close to the George Charles airport with intermittent small aircraft noise.
