Dining information

Secrets Papagayo offers six dining options and five bars. Restaurants open on rotation throughout the week and no reservations are required. Or stay in and order room service.

Market Cafe serves breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet style with international cuisine, theme stations and a show cooking experience. Seaside Grill is open for breakfast and lunch for Preferred Club guests and dinner for all guests, offering grilled favourites and quick bites poolside. For a healthy lunch or dinner, choose from the menu at Aqua, or tuck into grilled afternoon snacks at Barefoot grill.

In the evenings, Himistu offers Pan-Asian cuisine and Portofino proffers Italian cuisine.

For coffee and deli bites, Coco Cafe is open from early morning until late evening, and five bars serve international and domestic beverages as well as top-shelf spirits, ranging from a swim-up and beach bar to a music lounge and spa bar.

Additional information

Most restaurants have a casual dress code. This means that you can wear long shorts, sandals and trainers. Swimwear must remain covered, and men should wear shirts with sleeves. The formal dress code at Portofino means that men are expected to wear full-length trousers, collared shirts and dress shoes. Women can wear blouses, shirts, trousers or dresses with dress shoes.
