Overview

Set in New York City’s vibrant Theatre District, Row NYC offers proximity to Times Square and all its hustle and bustle. The 1,331 contemporary rooms – spread across 28 floors – appeal to budget conscious travellers. Facilities include an internet lounge, a 24-hour fitness centre and a cafe-style lobby bar which serves breakfast, followed by woodfired pizzas and cocktails. The hotel also adjoins a vibrant food hall, a gift shop and a hair and beauty salon.

Row NYC sits in the Midtown West area of Manhattan, just one block away from Times Square. You’ll find endless shops, bars, eateries and Broadway theatres in this busy neighbourhood – and the many restaurants of 46th Street are just a couple of blocks away. It’s a short walk to many sites, including the Rockefeller Centre, the Museum of Modern Art and St Patrick’s Cathedral, which are all less than a mile away. The Times Square 42nd Street station is adjacent to the hotel, so you can easily explore the rest of the city on public transport. John F Kennedy International Airport is outside of Manhattan, around 15 miles from the hotel.

The basic rooms are comfortable, although slightly small, with bright pops of colour that reflect the vibrancy of the cosmopolitan city. They feature Euro Top platform beds, and standard amenities include an iPod docking station, flat-screen TV and complimentary Wi-Fi. The standard rooms provide a white-tiled bathroom with signature toiletries by PURE. The hotel lies at one of the busiest intersections of the city, so you might hear some traffic and pedestrian noise from your room.

If your stay falls on a Sunday, you may even be able to watch classic films on the 120 square foot screen.

Dining information

In the morning, grab an espresso and freshly baked pastry at District M, which transforms into a pizza bar and cocktail lounge by night. You can admire the digital art gallery by Ron Galella, a celebrated American photographer, who is also known as a “pioneer paparazzo”. The bar menu here features wines, beers and signature cocktails, and there’s often live music in the evenings.

City Kitchen brings food market dining to your doorstep, with a unique selection of local vendors serving an array of international delights. Savour fresh lobster, sushi, burgers and noodles – or order fresh doughnuts and coffee if you’re craving something sweeter.

Additional information

A compulsory facility fee is payable locally and includes the ROW Pass, which will allow you to receive discounts at select local restaurants. The fee also covers all local and international phone calls, Wi-Fi internet access for unlimited devices, access to the fitness centre and usage of the computer and printing services in the iMac lounge.
