The resort is split into two wings, with the Royal Suite occupying the space between these. Each style of room is allocated a wing. One of these, featuring the Nirvana rooms, has an exclusive beach and outdoor pool. Neither these rooms nor the pool is open for children under the age of 12. That said, children are welcome in this resort and are well catered for.

Suites and royal suites now come with state-of-the-art technology, including an iHome iPod docking station. Enjoy free 24-hour WiFi in the receptions lobby and at Bois Cheri Bar, WiFi is also available for free throughout the Nirvana area as well as wired internet in the Nirvana rooms.

The Kids' club provides a wide range of activities and entertainment. The club is available during the daytime Monday to Saturday and is complimentary for children aged 4-12 years. It includes wind surfing lesson, class bottom trip, water ski lessons, sand castles, water gun fighting, water balloon fighting, Sega dance initiation, face painting, movie, crab hunting, colouring and Creole lesson. Evening activities until 19:30 on reservation only, guests need to book before 16:30. There is charged for babysitting for kids from 3 years old.

For adults, there is a choice of activities, including a wellness spa. The Taamra offers a range of treatments using natural and organic products. There is also a yoga studio and a complimentary, air-conditioned gym that has a good selection of equipment.

A variety of land and water sports are on offer, including volleyball, beach football, bocce ball, shallow dive personal submarines, water-skiing, sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, and water polo. Excursions range from glass-bottom boat tours to snorkelling and scuba diving. For an additional fee, the hotel will organize a land transfer to the harbour of the Black River where you can catch a speedboat to the lagoon and swim with the dolphins.
