Enjoy gentle strolls along the soft white-sand beaches or relax on a sun lounger, taking advantage of friendly beachside service. In the mornings you can stretch out on the unspoilt shoreline, soaking up the magical surroundings with a professional yoga master (for a supplementary charge). There’s also the opportunity to book special excursions for an extra charge, ranging from a traditional Dhoni sunset cruise, to a guided snorkelling trip.

The surrounding warm waters are swarming with colourful marine life – including tropical fish, corals, turtles, rays and sharks – making this a prime spot for unforgettable snorkelling or diving trips. Complimentary snorkelling equipment is available to rent, and the dive centre offers a variety of diving courses for all levels, conducted by a multilingual instructor team (for an extra charge). Otherwise, you can take up various complimentary non-motorised water sports, including windsurfing, canoeing and paddleboarding.

The hotel’s main pool lies between the main restaurant and bar. You can admire fantastic ocean views from here and cool down under one of the swaying palm trees. You can also sunbathe on the pool deck and order drinks with poolside service. Nearby, you’ll find a well-equipped gym and an artificial-grass tennis court, where you can take private lessons with a professional tennis coach, for an additional charge.

The inviting spa stands on stilts, providing a glass floor overlooking the gentle lapping waves of the Indian Ocean. It is home to several treatment rooms and features an outdoor wet area, a beauty salon and a yoga room. For an additional charge, you can book classic massages, facials and body treatments which use natural products from the Indian Ocean – or you can select an anti-ageing Valmont treatment from the extensive spa menu. Other spa facilities include a sauna, steam room, thermal plunge pools and a relaxation area.

Children between the ages of 6 and 16 years can enjoy specialist spa treatments, too, providing they are accompanied by an adult. However, they might prefer to spend time at the complimentary kids’ club (for 4- to 11-year-olds). The club provides exciting indoor and outdoor play areas, in addition to activities supervised by trained staff. Children can participate in arts and crafts workshops, games, talent shows and cooking classes. Babysitting service is also available, though pre-booking is advised, and additional charges apply.  

Dining information

There are three restaurants and two bars at the hotel. The main restaurant, Jahaz, provides international buffet-style cuisine with live show cooking and themed evenings. For breakfast, you can enjoy a buffet spread of tropical fruits, homemade breads and fresh pastries, and you can head to the cooking stations for omelettes, pancakes and waffles. The restaurant is also home to the Jahaz Wine Cellar, which features thousands of international wines, sourced directly from vineyards across the world. At the poolside Jahaz Bar, you can savour drinks alongside breathtaking ocean views.

Elsewhere, there’s the sand-floored sushi bar, Kaika, where you can feast on traditional Japanese sushi rolls and sashimi, and an al fresco beach grill restaurant called Meeru, specialising in delicious seafood and meat dishes. For fine dining, head to the elegant Jing and sample European-Asian fusion cuisine. Take a relaxing stroll along a lantern-lit walkway to reach the overwater venue on the jetty, and relish pre-dinner cocktails at the restaurant’s bar. Jing restaurant also has an overwater wine cellar, perfect for wine tastings or private dining.

Return seaplane transfers to your island resort are included in the total price of your accommodation.

If you stay on a half-board basis, you can take buffet dinners at Jahaz restaurant or a three-course meal in one of the two restaurants (Meeru and Jing restaurant), subject to reservation. You can also enjoy the themed buffet whenever available. The half-board supplement for dinner is optional and cannot be replaced by lunch.
