Spend time relaxing on the beachfront – where you’ll find sun loungers and umbrellas – or unwind around one of the six spacious swimming pools on the property. Keep in mind two of these are livelier children’s pools, but you can also retreat to the adult-only whirlpool.

The Thalasso Center & Spa, a peaceful sanctuary on the beachfront of Playa Dorada, offers an extensive menu of massage, facials and hydrotherapy treatments (for an additional charge). The qualified staff use sea water and natural elements for their revitalising properties. You can also enjoy the ‘Thousand and One Nights’ seawater circuit and listen to calming underwater music (for a supplement). Your spa experience will be enhanced by a visit to the Turkish baths and a refreshing hot beverage from the tea house. If retail therapy is more your thing, head to the on-site shopping centre – Boulevard Yaiza – which is home to plenty of high-end boutiques and international brands.

Popular with active guests, the spacious gymnasium is well-equipped with cardio and strength training machines. Floodlit tennis courts are also available on the property.

The hotel’s family-friendly entertainment programme will keep you busy throughout the day before live music or dance shows in the evening. Children can spend time at the Kikoland park, which includes a game zone, sport zone, soccer school, amphitheatre and play areas. A handful of kids’ clubs cater for ages 0 to 2, 3 to 5, 6 to 8 and 9 to 12, and there’s even a teens’ club for ages 13 to 18. Outside of Kikoland, you’ll find the Kiko Park for children which includes a soft play area and ball pool. There are monitors who supervise younger children, but babies up to the age of 36 months old must be accompanied by an adult. Otherwise, BabyKikoland is a facility specially designed for babies who are between the ages of 4 to 36 months old. Here, baby care specialists provide stimulating learning experiences and relaxed fun for little ones (available on request, charges apply).

Dining information

There are eight dining venues offering a selection of buffet and a la carte menus that specialise in a mixture of cuisines from around the world. The three buffet restaurants display show cooking and theme dinners. Yaiza specialises in international cuisine, La Piazzetta freshly prepares pizzas and other Italian delicacies, while La Hacienda is the place to go if you’re craving tasty barbeque and Mexican fare.

Begin your day at Isla de Lobos, relishing a sumptuous Canarian breakfast with stunning sea views. For lunch, head to the poolside restaurant and snack bar, La Tunera Pool. In the evenings, dine at Don Giovanni which serves Mediterranean specialities, or try Kampai which offers a la carte East Asian cuisine and Teppanyaki tables. If you enjoy Spanish cuisine, you will like +Tapas, an intimate venue which overlooks the sea.

Enjoy refreshing drinks at Mararía Lobby Bar which offers a terrace with stunning sea views or try Mencey Bar. La Papaya is a casual poolside bar and Kiko Snack Bar lies close to the family pool. When you’re in the Kikoland children’s park, you can order light bites at Hooky Pool Bar or order delicious ice creams and sweet treats at Gelateria.

Standard half board includes dinner in the three buffet restaurants with show-cooking, these are Yaiza, La Piazzetta and La Hacienda. The main buffet restaurant for dinner is International Restaurant Yaiza, where menu theme varies daily. Except in low season periods, a second buffet restaurant will be open simultaneously with rotative opening system. In low season, an alternative smaller buffet restaurant may open instead of Yaiza. For stays prior to 1 November 2024 a €25 food credit for dinner in a la carte restaurants is provided to guests with standard half board. This credit is non-refundable and not applicable on beverages (even if the food costs less than €25, the credit cannot be accumulated). If you’re staying on a half board basis, you can enjoy breakfast and dinner, but this does not include lunch.

Additional information

Long trousers required at Isla de Lobos and Kampai Restaurants at dinner services. Other restaurants allow shorts, but require closed-toe shoes and track suits are not permitted.

The spa is open for guests aged 16 and over. You must wear a swimsuit and a bathing cap.
