The resort boasts direct access to a private beach, stretching along the shores of the Arabian Gulf for around 200 metres. The sandy beach is lined with sun loungers and parasols, and the calm waters are ideal for water sports. Head to the dedicated water sports centre to snorkel, kayak, water ski or windsurf. You can also arrange various boat trips from the beachfront jetty here.

The hotel’s tennis court lies adjacent to the beach, offering an ideal setting for sunset tennis matches. Practise your serve with a professional tennis coach by booking private or semi-private lessons (subject to availability and an extra charge). Otherwise, cool down in one of the temperature-controlled pools, including a family-orientated lagoon pool and a tranquil, adults-only pool. The two main pools are encircled by loungers and cabanas and overlook the private beach; and there’s a third pool just for children.

Elsewhere on the property there’s an expansive fitness centre, complete with modern cardio and strength training equipment. The hotel’s fitness programme covers a range of fitness classes, and you can book private yoga sessions for an additional charge. The Waldorf Astoria Spa is nearby, featuring whirlpools and saunas, in addition to an herbal stream room, Arabic Attar perfumery, and thermal and water floatation lounges. You can discover almost 50 luxurious treatments, from facials by Omorovicza or Anne Semonin, to Neom massage treatments here.

The on-site kids’ club welcomes children between the ages of 3 to 12 years old. Each guest receives two complimentary hours at the kids’ club per day (per child), and any additional hours are charged at an hourly rate. Trained staff organise an array of fun activities, ranging from sandcastle competitions to face painting.  

Dining information

Mezzerie is the main all-day dining restaurant, offering an a la carte menu in addition to breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets. Nightly themed dinner buffets feature flavours from India, Asia, Europe and beyond. For something lighter, visit the chic poolside restaurant, Palm Avenue, and savour Californian comfort foods, such as signature flatbreads and baked apple tart. By evening, this space transforms into contemporary dining venue and cocktail lounge. Situated on the beachfront, Sunset 55 is a chic beach-lounge haven. Unwind in the relaxing ambiance of this space and dine on light bites and cocktails from the bar. Bask in the stunning sunsets over the Palm, with nightly live music from the resident DJ and guitarist.

Peacock Alley serves classic afternoon tea, with a signature tea and coffee selection; and Serafina Bar is an intimate, Venetian-themed bar that offers a signature cocktail menu and live evening entertainment. For dinner, relish authentic Vietnamese cuisine at LAO, or treat yourself to a Michelin-star dining experience at Social by Heinz Beck. This three-star Michelin chef brings contemporary Italian delicacies to Dubai, from succulent lobster medallions to white truffle risotto.

Half Board Plus plan includes three house beverages that can be consumed during meal times.

Additional information

The daytime dress code is casual, meaning that men can wear shorts, T-shirts and shoes with open toes. Men should not wear sleeveless shirts, and women should not wear sheer clothing at any time. The evening dress code changes to smart casual, so full-length trousers, shirts and closed shoes are preferred. Knee-length tailored shorts and polo shirts are accepted. There is a smart elegant dress code at LAO and Social by Heinz Beck.
