Located along a stretch of secluded beach on the Dominican Republic’s east coast, Zoetry Agua enjoys the serenity of its rural location. If you want to venture further from the resort, taxis or car rentals are recommended. Bavaro – the lively area of Punta Cana – lies just under 17 miles away, whilst the journey to Punta Cana International Airport is just under 29 miles away.

The 92 luxurious cane-thatched suites are sophisticated in design, with dark hardwood floors, natural stone accents and cathedral ceilings. All suites come with complimentary butler service and feature French doors which open out onto furnished patios or balconies. Choose between calming garden views or breath-taking ocean views, and options to have swim-out pool access or a plunge pool. Soak up the privacy of the gorgeous, white-sand beach or enjoy the peace and quiet of the scenic pathway trails which curve around the property.

There’s a strong focus on wellbeing with daily classes held on the beach, including yoga, stretch, dance and meditation sessions. Plus, there’s an on-site fitness centre which is open 24-hours. If you’re feeling active, hit the waves and try a non-motorised water sport.

The first-class spa has modern treatment rooms, Natura Bissé amenities, Inox bubble beds and sensation showers. The hydrotherapy circuit is free to use and there’s an indoor pool, steam room and sauna. Be sure to make use of you complimentary 20-minute wellness experience or fitness consultation and treat yourself to a wrap, hot stone massage or body scrub.

Take advantage of other cultural activities such as cooking, cigar-rolling and cocktail making lessons and enjoy a wine tasting session followed by starlit movies on the beach. Whilst there’s not a full programme of nightly entertainment on site, you might find low-key music being performed some evenings.

Experience gourmet dining at four a la carte restaurants. Dishes from the menus feature an organic selection of island ingredients and healthy, personalised dishes. Head to Amaya to sample light international fare – or Indigo, the intimate beachfront restaurant offering stunning ocean views. Try stimulating Italian cuisine and rare vintage wines at Olena or relish traditional Caribbean flavours in Piragua.

Coco Café is open throughout the day, serving delectable snacks alongside premium brand coffee, and there are few bars at the resort. Sip tropical cocktails or a variety of top-shelf spirits from the swim up bar, beachfront bar or lobby bar, all of which have a relaxing vibe.

As part of the ‘Sip, Savour and See’ dining experience, you’ll have the chance to enjoy dinner and evening entertainment at other selected properties in the region, such as Secrets Royal Beach. Ask locally for terms and conditions, as they may change without notice.

Additional information

Most restaurants have a casual dress code. This means that you can wear long shorts, sandals and trainers. Swimwear must remain covered, and men should wear shirts with sleeves. The formal dress code at Amaya means that men are expected to wear full-length trousers, collared shirts and dress shoes. Women can wear blouses, shirts, trousers or dresses with dress shoes.

We strongly recommend that transfers are booked in this destination. Transfers must be booked as additional items, for which separate vouchers will be required.

Whilst children and babies are welcome at Zoetry Agua Punta Cana, there are no specific facilities for families at the hotel.
