Overview

Tropical Deluxe Princess is a five-star, family-friendly resort perched on the shores of Playa de Bavaro. Tee off on the fairways of the Iberostar Golf Course, three miles away, or head to the Cocotal Golf & Country Club which is eight miles away. The vibrant streets of downtown Punta Cana are located just ten miles south and lined with shops, eateries and bars. Take a day trip to the temple, Basilica Nuestra Senora De La Altagracia, an hour’s drive from the resort, or explore the architectural wonders of Altos de Chavon. Located 60 miles away and sitting above the Chavon River, this 16th Century Mediterranean-style replica village features a stunning amphitheatre and an archaeological museum. Punta Cana International Airport is situated just over 16 miles from the resort.

Three sparkling pools await you and children can enjoy their own pool at the kids’ club. Loungers line the terrace, and you can kickback in a hammock or cool off under parasols. Once you’ve had your fill poolside, head down to the beach for salty swims and sunshine. Daily towel service is available at both the pool and the beach. Take to the Metamorphosis Spa for the ultimate pamper session. Unwind with a therapeutic massage in the spa cabin or in the beach huts by the sea. Along the shore there’s plenty to entertain with various non-motorised water sports including windsurfing, snorkelling and kayaking. You can also scuba dive with guided excursions or sail across the blue in a catamaran and build up your experience with instructor-led classes. Back at the resort, continue the fun in the dedicated sports area equipped with two floodlit tennis courts, an impressive multipurpose court and a football field. Buffet Higuero Restaurant serves up a spread of international favourites daily. Dine here for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Or grab a bite to eat on the sands at the Beach House. This spot serves chilled refreshments alongside a menu of sandwiches, burgers and salads. The Beach House Rooftop Bar is where you’ll find classic cocktails and stunning views of the Caribbean. In the evenings, enjoy the authentic flavours of Italy in La Tagliata Restaurant, add some heat at the Tex Mex Restaurant, Nopal, or savour a sumptuous blend of Asian-style fare with Teppanyaki cooking at Tao. Fogo Restaurant offers Brazilian dishes, while El Pilon plates up Dominican-style cuisine. Grab dessert and sweet treats from the creperie cafeteria and ice cream parlour.

Cappuccino serves up flaky pastries and great coffee, while at the Kanalla Sports Bar you’ll find a full menu – including main meals, snacks and drinks. Kitted out with several flat-screen TVs, an air hockey table and arcade, this two-storey venue is the perfect spot for catching all the big games. Head to the Lobby Bar for a relaxed atmosphere, sip cocktails with your toes in the sand at the Beach House Bar or enjoy a glass of chilled wine on the open-air terrace at La Terraza. Poolside, you’ll find Acqua Bar and Manatee Bar – perfect for keeping cool while soaking up the sun. Flanking the theatre lobby, the Theatre Bar is the ideal spot to grab a drink before the show or unwind post-performance.
