Elounda Bay Palace is situated on the water’s edge, overlooking Mirabello Bay in Crete, beside two Blue Flag, private sandy beaches. Elounda Bay Palace is located on the northeast coast on the beautiful island of Crete, one of the largest islands in the Mediterranean. A mile and a half away is the pleasant fishing village of Elounda from which you can catch a boat and visit Spinalonga, the area's biggest tourist attraction. The small port of Agios Nikolaos is under six miles from the hotel, where you’ll find local tavernas and shops. There are several ways to travel to Crete; the most popular one is to fly into Heraklion International Airport, which is just over 40 miles from the hotel. Although you can also fly into Chania, which is located on the northwest coast of Crete and drive 132 miles to Elounda Bay Palace. To travel by boat, ferries to Crete depart from Piraeus harbour, just to the south of Athens, and arrive into Heraklion Port.
There are 262 rooms at Elounda Bay Palace which vary in size, views and facilities; some are modern in style while others have a more Grecian feel. Classic Mountain View rooms measure 28 m² and can comfortably fit two or three people. They feature one bedroom, a marble-lined bathroom and a private balcony. There is also the option of adding a single sofa bed for families. For those seeking more space, opt for a Mediterranean Villa which measures 65 m² with sea views and private pool. They are composed of a bedroom and a separate living room, a bathroom with a Jacuzzi bathtub, TV and separate shower. The villa has a large veranda, which is perfect for relaxing alone or with friends, and it provides exclusive access to a private whirlpool. Start your day at Aretoussa with panoramic views across the bay, while enjoying traditional Greek and international dishes. Set by the water’s edge overlooking the bay is Thalassa. This stylish restaurant offers a delicious fish menu and a wide selection of other gourmet seafood delicacies. If you are looking for a classic seaside Greek taverna, head to Ariadne for a light a la carte lunch of grilled fish, meats, delicious fresh salads and other appetising regional specialties. ‘F’ restaurant specializes in fresh salads, tapas and light snacks in a casual-chic waterfront setting. Here you can try a refreshing cocktail with beautiful bay views at the Sail-In jetty bar. You also have the option to experience fine dining in the comfort of your room or suite. A further four restaurants can be accessed at the adjacent Elounda Beach Hotel.
Half Board includes a buffet breakfast and dinner served in the hotel's main restaurant. You may exchange a buffet dinner for a dinner credit of EUR 30 per adult, or EUR 15 per child aged 9 to 14 years old, which can be used towards an la carte dinner in the resort restaurants. Drinks are not included.
